Who requires me to use a Terrain Model Kit (TMK)?

All advanced leadership schools require the use of a Terrain Model Kit (TMK) in their requirements and the use of a Terrain Model to brief their missions. This includes Ranger School, SAPPER Leader Course, Special Forces Qualification Course (SFQC), Navy SEALS, Marine Special Operations (MARSOC) and Air Force Combat Controllers. Every Officer and Non-commissioned officer (NCO) producing school requires students to use a Terrain Model to brief their operations. These include, but not limited to: the United States Military Academy (USMA), Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), Army and Marine Officer Candidate School (OCS), Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC), Advanced Leader Course (ALC), Senior Leader Course (SLC), and the Warrior Leader Course (WLC). Other courses that require Terrain Model Kits (TMK) for use are the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course (IBOLC), Infantry Captains Career Course (ICCC), and Armor Basic Officer Leadership Course (ABOLC). The Engineer Basic Officer Leadership Course (EBOLC), Engineer Captains Career Course (ECCC), Military Police Basic Officer Leadership (MPBOLC) and Military Police Captains Career Course (MPCCC) at the Maneuver Support Center (MANSCEN) in Fort Leonard Wood also require the use of a Terrain Model Kit (TMK). Military exercises such as Leadership Development Assessment Course (LDAC) or Warrior Forge, Cadet Leaders Course (CLC), Leadership Training Course (LTC) also require the use of a Terrain Model Kit (TMK).
